About Ciaran Fox
Ciaran Fox is an enthusiast, sensualist, thinker of thoughts, feeler of feels, poet, father, and born-again skateboarder.
His writing has appeared in NZ literary journals such as Catalyst, Takahe, Landfall, JAAM and Hellfire Poetry Anthology. He is co- organiser of long-running open mic and literary journal Catalyst, now in its twentieth year, and an ardent supporter of emerging poets.
He has performed in a number of arts and literary festivals in NZ alongside poets and musicians with groups such as Lyttelton Poets, Whisky Chasers and Catalyst Road Show. He is the regular host of the Christchurch Poetry Slam.
These are big question poems: whether to drift or commit, solitude versus company, whether to be serious about a talent. Something is always interrupting a conclusion, leading onto the next poem.
